With Ribfest back as a key featured summer events in Kamloops, Dawson Group was thrilled to return as a supporter of this deliciously impactful community event.
A handful of Dawson employees volunteered their Thursday morning to lend a hand to Ribfest’s ever-expanding footprint in Riverside Park. More than 80,000 visitors walked through the gates over the weekend’s event.
Dawson employees helped unload multiple trucks containing items for the weekend, set up more than one hundred tables and several hundred chairs, helped organize signage and installed 2,700-feet of fencing to enclose the area. We take pride in knowing that our work made Ribfest a more enjoyable event for the community, which in turn, raises more money for local programs and initiatives through Kamloops’ Daybreak Rotary Club.
