On September 24, Dawson Group employees in Kamloops broke into three teams to build new stainless-steel kitchen carts for the PIT Stop – who deliver hundreds of meals to the community each Sunday in Kamloops. Teams representing our corporate office, the Knutsford shop and the truck centre participated in the cart building challenge and did a fantastic job! Jackie Miller and her team from the Dawson International Truck Centres won the competition and received the honour of delivering the carts to the PIT Stop today. and then enjoyed a celebratory lunch.
The Dawson Group offered to support PIT Stop in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. PIT Stop advised that they needed three new stainless steel kitchen carts to assist with food preparation and delivery, and we are pleased to build and donate these carts to PIT Stop.
