Drivers in Smithers reminded to Shift Into Winter at annual event

Dawson Road Maintenance was out on Wednesday with the local Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure, RCMP and BCEHS volunteers for the Smithers annual Shift into Winter event.

Drivers received gift bags, information about Drive BC and a quick vehicle check to ensure they were ready for winter. This included checking that they were equipped with mud and snow tires or better yet, winter tires.
