Last week, our Dawson International Truck Centres Kamloops location celebrated a significant milestone with a current employee, as Mike Gavin began his 10th year at the company.
To Gavin’s surprise, a small gathering in the parts showroom had been assembled as he was working in the warehouse, with the entire team was waiting for him in celebration.
“I had no idea they planned all of this,” said Gavin, whose first day with the company was June 27, 2014. “I’ve always enjoyed my job. I work with great people and I enjoy the company, so it’s been a good 10 years.”
Gavin, a Shipper and Receiver, has been a committed and valuable team member over the past decade, making sure the employees and customers have the parts they need.
“Mike is an expert when it comes to shipping and receiving. He is the go-to guy for anyone with questions at our branch, he’s dedicated and always willing to help anyone. He does a great job looking after the customers and we love having him around,” said Mac Corrie, Kamloops Branch Manager.
