On May 21, we celebrated the retirement of Mike Wolfram. Mike joined the Dawson Group in July 2019 as the CFO for the group of companies, and he led our Finance team through a period of substantial business growth.
Mike has always been open that his time with our team would be short, as his wife was keen to have him retire with her so they could start travelling and attending their favorite sport events. Mike loves basketball!
Last March, just before the pandemic, Mike shared that he would like to start planning for his retirement, but when the boarders were closed, and travel was discouraged he agreed to stay on with us as a Corporate Controller.
Well now the time has come for Mike to enjoy his lake house this summer, and start planning for new adventures. Mike’s last day with us was May 28th.
We want to thank Mike for all of his hard work and dedication over the past three years. We wish you and Jane all the very best and cannot wait to hear about your travels, and of course about all the best restaurants! Congratulations Mike!
